HR VISTA 2025


Christ (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, Pune Campus, in collaboration with BEINGHR and the Ghatfield Foundation, successfully hosted HR VISTA 2025 | The HR Conclave on February 21st and 22nd, 2025. This two-day landmark event revolved around the theme "Work Reimagined: HR for the Future," fostering insightful discussions on the transformative trends shaping the HR landscape. The conclave served as a platform for HR professionals, academicians, and industry leaders to engage in meaningful dialogue about the evolving role of HR in an era of digital transformation, workplace automation, and talent management innovations. The event witnessed the participation of 47 HR professionals from diverse industries who came together to network, exchange insights, and explore best practices for the future of work.

On February 21st, 2025, around 50 HR delegates embarked on their journey to Christ University, Lavasa, Pune, from Christ College, Pune. They arrived at 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by faculty members and the student organizing team. The event began with a networking lunch at the Management Block Banquet Hall & IVY Hall. The formal inauguration of HR VISTA 2025 took place at the Central Block Auditorium, with dignitaries including Dr. Fr. Lijo Thomas (Dean & Director, Christ Lavasa), Dr. Jibrael Jose (Associate Dean), faculty members, and students in attendance. The event was inaugurated with the traditional Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a special prayer song by the Student Welfare Office (SWO) Choir Team.

The inaugural session featured thought-provoking keynote speeches by industry leaders. Mr. Sharad Gangal (Chairman, TJSB Sahakari Bank) spoke on "Workplace 2030: Shaping Tomorrow’s Workforce," followed by Mr. Yogesh Patgaonkar (CHRO, Persistent Systems), who provided insights on "AI and Automation: Redefining HR and Talent Management." Another engaging keynote was delivered by Mr. Abhijit Puri (Senior Director - Operations & Talent Transformation, LTIMindtree) on "Rethinking Work & Redefining Success." These sessions provided valuable perspectives on the future of HR and the integration of technology in workforce management.

Following the keynote addresses, a panel discussion on "Future of Work from HR Perspective" was held, moderated by Mr. Clifford Mohan Pai (Executive Director, CHRIST University). The panelists included Mr. Anand Dhruv (Associate Director HR, NTT Global Data Centres), Ms. Swati Patil (Head - HR, Zimetrics Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), and Mr. Anup Dandekar (People Partner, Rolls Royce Power Systems AG). This interactive session sparked insightful conversations on the evolving HR landscape. The first day concluded with a vibrant cultural night organized by the Student Welfare Office (SWO), showcasing the incredible talents of Christ Lavasa students through music, dance, and drama performances.

The second day, February 22nd, 2025, began with an early morning nature trek to Ekaant Viewpoint, offering a serene and refreshing start for delegates, faculty members, and student volunteers. Following this, the HR delegates and students gathered for an engaging drama performance by BEINGHR, highlighting "Our Biases and Multiple Generations at Work." This was followed by an insightful session on "Inclusivity to Drive High Performance" by Ms. Moushumi D. (CHRO, Indospace).

HR professionals also conducted one-on-one mentorship sessions with BBA, B.Com, and B.Sc students, sharing their knowledge on key topics such as organizational development, recruitment strategies, entrepreneurship, future workforce trends, mergers and acquisitions, and campus-to-corporate transition. These personalized interactions provided students with industry insights and career guidance.

As the event neared its conclusion, Dr. Robin Banerjee (Chairman, Nucleon Research Pvt. Ltd.) delivered a keynote on "Work-Life Balance & Managing Mental Health - A CEO’s Perspective," emphasizing the importance of mental well-being in today’s corporate world. This was followed by an awards ceremony recognizing HR professionals who have been changemakers in their respective organizations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Shankar Iyer (Head, Centre for Placements & Career Guidance, CHRIST University, Lavasa), appreciating the efforts of faculty, students, and delegates in making the conclave a resounding success. The two-day event wrapped up with the National Anthem, a group photo session, and a farewell lunch.

HR VISTA 2025 provided a holistic learning experience, bringing together the best minds in HR to discuss and strategize for the future of work. The event fostered networking, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, ensuring that HR professionals shared valuable insights into the evolving workforce landscape.
