Installation Ceremony- Aarambh




The Rotaract Club of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa, in collaboration with the School of Business and Management (BBA), organized its Installation Ceremony AARAMBH on 19th September 2025 at the Management Block Auditorium. The event marked a significant milestone in the annual calendar of the Rotaract Club, as it witnessed the formal transition of leadership, induction of new members, and the installation of the Board of Directors for the academic year 2025–26. With a total participation of 40 attendees, the event was both solemn and inspiring, reflecting the values of fellowship, leadership, and service that define Rotaract.

The program commenced with the National Anthem and the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, symbolizing knowledge, hope, and service. This was followed by the formal collaring of the new office bearers, an important moment that highlighted the continuity of leadership within the Club. Rtr. Ananya Bajpayi was collared as the President for the year 2025–26, and she delivered her acceptance speech, outlining her vision for the club’s growth and impact. Rtr. Trisha Dhar was officially introduced as Secretary, and alongside her, the new Board of Directors was installed. Their induction symbolized a renewed commitment to lead with responsibility, collaborate with peers, and actively contribute to the mission of Rotaract.

The ceremony also included the induction of new members, welcoming them into the Rotaract family. This part of the program created a sense of pride, motivation, and belonging for the new inductees, who were reminded of the values of service, leadership, and community engagement. It emphasized the fact that Rotaract is not only a platform for professional growth but also a space where individuals come together to serve society and develop lifelong skills of teamwork and leadership.

Distinguished guests added immense value to the event with their presence and words of encouragement. The gathering was addressed by Rotarian Pankaj Mehrotra, New Generation Director Vaishali Karwa, and Chief Guest PHF DRRE Dr. Karishma Awari. Their speeches highlighted the broader vision of Rotary International, the importance of youth leadership, and the role of Rotaract in shaping responsible, service-driven professionals. Their messages motivated students to see Rotaract not just as a club activity but as a powerful movement for personal transformation and societal impact.

The felicitation of the guests and dignitaries acknowledged their contributions and reinforced the bond between the student body and the larger Rotarian community. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the organizing committee, followed by High Tea, which created a warm space for informal fellowship and networking among members and guests.

The impact of the event was notable. For the new office bearers, the ceremony was a defining moment of responsibility and leadership. For new members, it was a welcoming induction into a culture of service and growth. Faculty and guests observed with pride the enthusiasm of the students, appreciating the seamless execution of the program. The event strengthened the spirit of camaraderie and inspired everyone present to align their efforts with Rotaract’s motto of “Fellowship through Service.”

Overall, AARAMBH achieved its objectives of leadership transition, induction, and motivation. It not only marked the beginning of a new Rotaract year but also reaffirmed the club’s commitment to community service, leadership development, and collaborative growth. By combining tradition, leadership rituals, and inspiring guidance from Rotarian leaders, the ceremony stood out as a meaningful and memorable event in the academic year 2025–26.
