Alumni Interaction with Advait Dharmadhikari.
The School of Business and Management, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, organised an engaging Alumni Interaction Programme on 4 September, providing students with an opportunity to connect with an accomplished alumnus and gain valuable insights from his professional journey. The programme commenced at 10:30 a.m. onwards and was conducted in online mode, with the physical venue designated as the Management Block, Seminar Hall. The session featured Mr. Advait Dharmadhikari, an alumnus of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), who currently serves as the Founding AI Engineer & Product Lead. His professional journey and experience in the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence and product development made the interaction particularly relevant for students aspiring to build careers in technology, business, entrepreneurship, and management. The alumni interaction was designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional practice. Mr. Advait Dharmadhikari shared insights from his career journey, reflecting on the transition from being a student to becoming a professional in a technology-driven business
environment. His experiences highlighted the importance of developing industry-relevant competencies alongside academic knowledge. A significant focus of the session was the changing nature of the workplace and the growing influence of artificial intelligence across industries. Students were encouraged to understand emerging technologies not merely as tools but as enablers of innovation, problem-solving, and business transformation. The discussion also highlighted the importance of staying curious, continuously learning, and adapting to changing industry requirements. The interaction provided students with a valuable opportunity to understand the expectations of the contemporary workplace. Mr. Advait emphasised the importance of combining technical awareness with communication, critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and a strong problem-solving mindset. Such insights helped students appreciate how multidisciplinary skills can contribute to professional growth and leadership. The online format enabled students to actively participate in the session and engage with the alumnus through meaningful interactions. The programme created a platform for students to ask questions, clarify their career-related concerns, and gain practical perspectives that extend beyond textbooks and academic discussions. Alumni interactions play a significant role in strengthening the relationship between an institution and its graduates. Alumni bring with them valuable professional experiences, industry knowledge, and perspectives that can inspire and guide current students. Programmes such as these also demonstrate how the alumni community can contribute meaningfully to the academic and professional development of students. The session concluded with a note of gratitude to Mr. Advait Dharmadhikari for taking the time to interact with the students and share his professional experiences and insights. The programme was a meaningful learning experience that encouraged students to embrace innovation, remain adaptable, and prepare themselves for an increasingly technology-driven professional landscape. The Alumni Interaction Programme on 4 September thus served as an enriching platform for knowledge sharing, career awareness, and meaningful alumni–student engagement, reinforcing the enduring connection between the institution and its alumni community. The session also inspired students to view their academic journey as a foundation for lifelong learning, innovation, and meaningful professional impact in society..png)
