AURA: Personal Branding and Interpersonal Excellence Workshop
The School of Business and Management - BBA, Christ University, Pune Lavasa Campus, organised an external workshop titled “AURA: Personal Branding and Interpersonal Excellence” on 19 September 2026 for all first-year BBA students. The session was facilitated by Ms. Rashmi Saha, an experienced professional who shared practical insights on personal branding, confidence building, communication, interpersonal effectiveness, and professional presence.
The workshop was conducted in two batches at the Management Block Auditorium. Students from 1 BBA A and B attended the first session from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while students from 1 BBA C and H attended the second session from 11:15 AM to 1:15 PM. The structured scheduling enabled active participation and ensured that students received focused attention throughout the programme.
The session aimed to help students understand the importance of creating a positive and authentic personal identity in academic, social, and professional environments. Ms. Rashmi Saha explained how personal branding is not limited to appearance or social media presence, but is also reflected through behaviour, values, communication style, confidence, consistency, and the way individuals interact with others. She encouraged students to identify their strengths, understand how they are perceived, and consciously develop qualities that contribute to a strong and credible personal image.A major focus of the workshop was interpersonal excellence. Students were guided on the importance of effective communication, active listening, empathy, body language, professional etiquette, and respectful interaction. The facilitator connected these concepts with real-life situations, making the session relatable and engaging for young learners. Students were encouraged to become more self-aware, take responsibility for their growth, and develop the confidence required to communicate their ideas clearly.
The workshop also highlighted the relevance of personal branding in future career opportunities, internships, networking, interviews, leadership roles, and professional relationships. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, students were able to reflect on the way they present themselves and the changes they can make to improve their overall personality and professional readiness.
The programme received active participation from students, who found the session useful in understanding the relationship between personality, communication, confidence, and professional success. The interactive nature of the workshop created an engaging learning environment and provided students with practical takeaways that can be applied in their everyday academic and personal lives.
Overall, the “AURA: Personal Branding and Interpersonal Excellence Workshop” was a meaningful initiative towards the holistic development of first-year BBA students. The programme successfully complemented classroom learning by focusing on essential life and professional skills. It reinforced the department’s commitment to providing students with experiential learning opportunities that prepare them not only for academic success but also for future professional and leadership responsibilities. The presence of faculty members during both sessions contributed to the smooth conduct of the programme. The workshop also created an opportunity for students to engage with an external expert and gain perspectives beyond the regular curriculum. Such initiatives strengthen students’ employability, self-confidence, awareness, and readiness to face increasingly competitive academic and professional environments with confidence.
