On 5th September 2026, the Quadrangle of the Central Block at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, transformed into a vibrant sanctuary of gratitude, music, and shared joy. Jointly organized by the Student Council  and the Centre for Social Action (CSA), the Teachers’ Day Celebration 2026 stepped beyond traditional ceremonial decorum to embrace a deeply inclusive ethos: celebrating every individual who teaches, guides, and sustains our campus life. The afternoon commenced with an invocatory reflection and a heartfelt welcome address that intentionally redefined the very essence of mentorship. Rather than confining the celebration solely to teaching faculty, the opening remarks paid profound tribute to the entire campus ecosystem—honouring administrative personnel and facility management staff alongside professors as essential partners in nurturing student growth. This conscious embrace of inclusivity set an uplifting, egalitarian tone for the rest of the gathering. Following the formal welcome, student volunteers brought the stage to life with an energetic lineup of cultural tributes. A poignant medley of acoustic and vocal renditions

dedicated to our mentors filled the open-air venue, stirring nostalgia and appreciation across the audience. The energy rose as CSA volunteers delivered a spirited fusion of folk and contemporary dance, mirroring the rich cultural diversity of our campus community. The performances drew enthusiastic applause and genuine smiles, seamlessly connecting educators and staff from different disciplines into a shared moment of celebration. The spirit of camaraderie deepened as the celebration transitioned into interactive, light-hearted games curated by the student coordinators. Breaking away from everyday routines and formal hierarchies, professors, administrative officers, and facility staff teamed up to tackle collaborative trivia, rhythm-based challenges, and team games. The Quadrangle echoed with laughter as faculty members strategized alongside housekeeping staff, proving that joy and togetherness naturally

dismantle all organizational barriers. In one of the day’s most moving moments, the gathering paused to formally felicitate non-teaching and support staff alongside academic faculty. Student volunteers presented handmade tokens of appreciation and personalized mementos to every member of our operational and housekeeping teams. Representatives from the staff shared brief, touching reflections, expressing their heartfelt gratitude for being recognized as vital contributors to the university’s mission. It was a tangible realization of social empathy—affirming that every role matters in building a dignified, supportive academic community. The celebration culminated in the late afternoon with an earnest vote of thanks from the student leadership, followed by an informal fellowship over high tea in the Quadrangle. Conversations flowed freely, stories were exchanged, and memories were sealed with genuine warmth.
