Freshers' Programme 2026, School of Law

The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus, hosted the Freshers’ Programme for its newly joined first-year students on 19 September 2026 at the Activity Hub. Organised as a warm and fun welcome to the incoming batch, the programme offered students an opportunity to celebrate the beginning of their university journey, interact with their peers and seniors, and develop a stronger sense of belonging within the School of Law community. It also marked an important step in helping them adjust to campus life and experience the supportive and vibrant culture of the University community at large.

The Activity Hub was filled with enthusiasm as first-year and second-year students arrived dressed in their finest attire. The colourful setting, cheerful atmosphere and energetic participation of the students created the perfect environment for an evening of joy and celebration. The programme was planned to ensure that the newly joined first year students could engage with one another in a relaxed and enjoyable setting beyond their regular academic interactions.

The evening featured an array of cultural performances presented by the senior students. Their performances showcased creativity, talent and teamwork while extending a lively welcome to the new batch. The first-year students also took centre stage during the semi-final and final rounds of the Mr Freshers and Ms Freshers competition. Their confidence, enthusiasm and willingness to participate added excitement to the event and received encouraging responses from the audience.

A series of interactive group games and activities further brought the students together. These activities encouraged participation, communication and cooperation among the first-year students while creating moments of laughter and shared enjoyment. The programme provided a valuable platform for students from different backgrounds to become acquainted, build friendships and create memories that will remain with them throughout their university life.

The active involvement of the second-year students contributed significantly to the success of the event. From decorating the venue and coordinating the activities to presenting cultural performances and engaging with the freshers, they played an important role in ensuring that the programme was welcoming and well organised. Their efforts reflected a spirit of collaboration, responsibility and support within the student community.

The celebration concluded with an energetic DJ session, during which students came together to enjoy music and mark the beginning of a new chapter. This was followed by dinner at CBT for the first-year and second-year students, along with faculty members. The shared meal provided a pleasant conclusion to the evening and allowed the participants to continue their interactions in an informal atmosphere.

More than an evening of entertainment, the Freshers’ Programme represented the School of Law’s commitment to creating an inclusive, engaging and supportive campus environment. It helped the newly joined students feel welcomed and encouraged them to take an active part in university life.

The School of Law warmly welcomes all its first-year students and wishes them a successful, fulfilling and joyous journey at CHRIST. May their years at the University be enriched by learning, friendship, personal growth and memorable experiences.
