New Leaders Rise: Inside Lavasa’s Electrifying BBA Investiture Ceremony

A quiet sense of anticipation filled the auditorium before gradually turning into a wave of applause as the ceremonial badges took their place under the stage lights. With hands raised and voices united in the oath, our students stepped forward with confidence, purpose, and a sense of responsibility. This was more than a formal induction; it marked the beginning of a new journey—one shaped by leadership, collaboration, accountability, and student-driven change.

Organized by the School of Business and Management, the BBA Investiture Ceremony marked the formal induction of the student leadership teams of four vibrant associations—CUSBMA, BINC, EDGE, and SIC. Each association brings with it a distinct purpose and contributes to creating a dynamic and engaging student experience. From academic and professional development to analytical thinking, innovation, career readiness, and community engagement, these student bodies provide platforms for students to learn beyond the classroom.

As the newly appointed student leaders came forward to receive their badges and sashes, the auditorium reflected a wonderful mix of pride, excitement, and responsibility. For the students receiving their badges, it was a moment of recognition and a reminder of the responsibilities entrusted to them. For their peers, it was an opportunity to witness their classmates take an important step forward and accept leadership roles within the BBA community.

CUSBMA continues to create opportunities around business, management, and student engagement, while BINC focuses on analytical thinking, business insights, and data-driven learning. EDGE contributes towards professional and career development, helping students connect their academic journey with future opportunities.
